Vaginal birthPermission to put this film on the internet was obtained from patient before the delivery. This was one amazing delivery I performed. This woman was NOT in labor, but delivered 5 children before and had a pathologically loose birth canal (had to use pessary during the pregnancy to prevent prolapse). At around 39 weeks she came in to be checked. She was like 4cm dialated already. Almost as a joke I told her to give me one push. That put her cervix to 8cm. I took her to the hospital and told her that we will try something unusual, to deliver this baby without labor. She pushed that baby out in 10 minutes. Amazing.

Natural Childbirthgiving birth naturally SupermomWannabe.com no pain medication Baby born at 9 on Tuesday July 27th, 2010. 7 lbs. 13 oz. baby boy. 38 weeks pregnant (previous pregnancies were 3-5 days late so labor and delivery unexpected 2 weeks early) Prayers for our baby boy are welcome as he recovers from some health challenges (related to his kidneys). Baby was able to come home from hospital NICU 3 weeks after birth. I planned non medicated birth @ hospital w/ midwife because I'm VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarian section) so higher risks. Our newborn son needed medical intervention immediately after birth. This was an unmedicated "dry childbirth" (no amniotic fluid), and baby's abdomen was larger than his head! No epidural, no pain meds, all natural. So yes it hurt.
