English Electric units and Ka 942 Wellington NZ 10 October 2010English Electric units and Mainline Steam's Ka 942 steam-hauled train between Wellington and Plimmerton on Sunday 10 October 2010. First scenes show red EE 3-coach unit "Cyclops" followed by Ka 942 crossing Ngauranga Gorge just north of Wellington. Plimmerton Volunteer Fire Brigade 75th Anniversary ParadePlimmerton Volunteer Fire Brigade celebrated it's 75th anniversary in 2009. To mark the occaision they hosted an 'Emergency Services Parade' terminating at the Plimmerton School, which hosted an open day for Fire and other emergency services. In attendance on the day were local career and volunteer fire crews, Ambulance, Police and other services regularly seen in support of the local brigade. Well done to the guys from Plimmerton for a great day.
