Third Time Down NASTAR CourseTelluride, CO Day 3 here. Matt Feeney of Adaptive Adventures was my instructor, all week, and I had a blast each day. It was great learning from another monoskier, as opposed to an able body skier. I'm a visual learner, so having someone to mimic works better for me than having someone tell me to face my shoulders further to the left or something. Another reason that it was a great week, is because I advanced a lot as far as the skills of being independent go, learning to get myself into the ski, and out of it with less help than before. Learning to get myself up when I fall. And I'm getting better at it as the slopes get steeper, its easier to pick myself up.
