US Airways Crash Video Flight 1549 Hudson River US Coast Guard Vessel Traffic Serviceairboyd.tv (Video courtesy of Coast Guard Vessel Traffic Service) New York--The Coast Guard and National Transportation Safety Board released Coast Guard footage today of the US Airways passenger plane as it conducted an emergency landing into the Hudson River Jan. 15, 2009. The Coast Guard is conducting a safety zone around the plane, which is now located at Battery Park City, NY, while a commercial salvage team is working to remove the plane from the water. The Coast Guard, New York Police and Fire Departments, New York Waterways and Circle Line ferry rescue teams launched a multi-asset response yesterday when the plane ditched onto the Hudson River, at approximately 3 pm Upon initial notification, Coast Guard Sector New York launched a fleet of small rescue boats and the 87-foot Coast Guard Cutter Ridley was diverted to the scene. The Coast Guard Cutter Katherine Walker also arrived on scene to assist in the search and rescue efforts and enforcement of the safety zones. Three Coast Guard helicopters from Air Station Atlantic City, NJ, and one from Air Station Cape Cod, Mass., worked closely with New York City Police air assets to provide aerial support. VTS 3rd Generation - Virtual DJ decks testVTS 3rd Generation - Virtual DJ decks test Well, after some mostly positive feedback, I should make some confessions: 1- This video is a demo. I was trying to sell the idea to a small video game company in the UK. I did the demo in one evening (using the software I did during my PhD). So it's by no means a finished usable system. 2- I used Traktor DJ Studio to make the mixing and scratching. And then I integrated it with the video of me moving the decks. 3- I have no idea about DJing (I've never had a record player either). You can find out this by yourself cause to begin with the decks turn in the wrong way!! (small mistake :-). All in all, that's just a demo of what it could be.
