Wheelchair accessible Chevy Silverado 2500 HD PICKUP!This is me getting into my 03' Chevy 2500HD Pickup & getting locked in place by the Slidelock. It was modified by Rynomobility.com to be wheelchair accessible. I paid/am paying for the truck ONLY, Vocational Rehab paid to have the modifications done so that I could return to the workforce. Since then I have gotten a newer wheelchair that sits me quite a bit lower though, as that was my first chair which I got way before the truck conversion. It also has the new style door actuators the company is using which are quite a bit faster as you can see in one of my other videos of the truck only w/the new ones. You can go to their site to check out the vehicles they do but would need to go through one of their dealers which you can find on their site to get something modified. They have dealers all over the US and one in the UK as well. They work with all Voc. Rehabs, VA's, most insurance companies as well as a few other things.

Braun Braunability Entervan failing NHTSA Fuel Integrity wheelchair van Crash Test!Watch this Braun Entervan wheelchair van spew gas after failing a NHTSA fuel integrity crash test! Watch it spill all over the ground after impact. Don't light a match! We looked at one of these handicap vans but the dealer wouldn't show us the crash test results...Did some research on wheelchair vans and I guess this is why! This test was done on the handicapped van by the gov't. without Braun knowing. The report says it was Braunability's wheelchair van conversion design that caused the gas tank failure. Look it up! Read the summary at www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov No wonder Braun won't show tested these handicapped accessible vans on their own, the public would never know....I dug a little deeper and found this www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov What else is out there about accessible vehicles?!?! Kinda scary as Braunability is the largest wheelchair accessible van manufacturer in the US., even bigger than VMI. Glad we didn't make a mistake and buy one of there handicap vans or wheelchair lift... New Developments!!!
