18. What absolute rubbish. These evangelists do a lot of good for the poor and disadvantaged of this world. They have also brought many tens of thousands of people to Christ with their teachings. So what if they do lead prosperous lives - I couldn't really care less, as long as they do their share for the disadvantaged, which they do abundantly. 20. The Bible says the spiritual man judges all things but he himself is judged by no man. When was the last time you spent considerable time in 1Cor2 and weighed that against your idea of using your natural reasonings to evaluate the teachings of the Spirit of God? Doesn't your Bible say the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit and cannot understand them because they are spiritually judged? So, exactly how do you judge the "Word of Faith" (which we preach [says the Bible]) or Joyce?
21. Why did you misquote the Scripture and transform it to a doctrine you like? That Scripture you wrested is, "test the spirits" but in your denomination, they know little to nothing about spirits, so you just drop the word and replace it with "teachings." In my experience, most people who (even) correctly quote that Scripture have no idea what it means or how to test a spirit, yet, if you'll be honest about the Word, you'll see that's what it says, not "test the teachings." You won't find that.
22. What Scripture is that to which you're referring about being above scrutiny? And that Scripture says who does the scrutiny? With all the different denominations, who's qualified to say who's qualified? Should the Presbyterians judge what's taught by the Assemblies of God? Should the Baptists judge the Churches of Christ? Who says who is right? It seems you think that after you examine her teaching, you'll be qualified to "scrutinize" her. Who scrutinizes you and what if they agree with her?
23. "First, you know nothing about me" You show an ignorance of Scripture. Jesus said, "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." I knew a great deal about you by reading what you said. I think you rather presumptuously think you're qualified to judge her teaching. Do you know how many denominations there are who all teach "we believe the Bible"? Do you think your denomination is right? Getting the picture? Does God teach you or do men? That's a simple question.
