5. I didn't grow up in a household where we said I love you. For most of my childhood the closest my father could get to ILY was the Patrick Swayze line from Ghost -- "Ditto". But then 5 years ago I survived an almost lethal attack by my now-exhusband. Barely. In the hospital I had a lot of time to think and decided that I was going to make sure the last thing I always said to someone I <3'd was I love you. So I do that now, and it has a remarkably warming effect on ppl/relationships. :)

8. I'm pretty good at telling people I love them (it helps having a dad who says it all the time), but I think one person I wish I could tell "I love you" to would be my mum. She died 5 years ago today from a kidney disease called Glomerulonephritis which caused her kidneys to fail when I was 5. She suffered with it for ten years, but never ceased to make me appreciate the life God gave us, and to always feel loved! So, even though Esther day is still a few months away...I love you mum!! :) DFTBA.

14. I'm not exactly good with words, and I know that Esther Day is a long way away, so I have sometime, but I'm going to try and tell my family that I love them. I do, even though they annoy the crap out of me sometimes. Esther was an amazing person. I'm new to Nerdfighteria, but it's clear to me that she really made an impact on a lot of people's lives.
