4. It's not a big Airport - but it's certainly the nicest, and I'm a Wellingtonian to say that!
5. 3 hours to Sydney, but maybe longer for Melbourne and Brisbane. I know it's about 6 hours to Perth. To Vancouver, Canada, I was told it's about 13 hours.

12. Do your research. Google 'world airline awards survey methology' Theres no way to 'cheat' your way into the top ten. Brisbane is great and made top 20. Vancouver is nice inside but not always user friendly when trying to make a connecting flight and having to walk for miles. I've always had fantastic service at AKL so maybe it was the airline you flew. Or your attitude.
