these fuckers are batshit crazy. i love it.
they are scared ;)
poor dustylee72,its not our fault that you cant relate to your indiginous people,we were here first which is why we have the Haka, get over it....mate
You are right MrBlip94,should have been a kiwi song, shoot the Dj,hahaha, anyhoo Haka is choice and unique and do feel proud to seee it.
I'm surprised they didn't surrender after seeing that.
Ok, I need to talk to shrink about why I love these hakas?
Seriously
Best I can say its a traditional tribal war dance from the maori of New Zealand, its a challenge for combat as well as intimidation.
Can someone explain to me what the "HaKa" is? I'm a football person but always been interested as to what it's done for, thanks!
NEW ZELAND SHOULD RESPECT OTHER COUNTRIES TOO.Why should teams be forced to hang around for the haka, the all blacks refuse to allow other countries to respond, when the haka asks for a response? New zealanders are getting way too precious about it? In cardiff the welsh told the all blacks they would respond to the haka with a welsh bread of heaven , the all blacks then refused to do the haka and did it in the changing rooms. PATHETIC.Is the haka more important than other nations tradition? NO
Tracksuit pants? I thought that was standard NZ attire because sheep stampede at the sound of zippers. As for waltzing Matilda, we have to listen to your anthem twice then watch your in your face dance so how can waltzing Matilda be offensive. There are 2 teams out there it's not all about the All Blacks.
Oh yea, ok then. How about pretty much every team still coming out in their track pants etc against the All Blacks then? That way they can still have that quick change to change their pants! Also, the Aussies: Playing "Waltzing Matilda" after the Haka? What sort of response is that to a War Dance?
An Australian player got fined for turning his back on the haka. This dance is purely NZ culture and it is being forced upon the game. If they want to do it by all means do it but don't force it upon people who don't want to watch it.
thats pretty pussy, so when the other teams trying to intimidate you, you run away and dont watch it? go watch i forget the vid but i think its anderson stands up to Haka. something like that, its the irish vs the all blacks and shows what should be done during the haka
I'd actually like to have the other team do something in response. My personal feeling is the Haka should be only done on home ground or in tournaments like this.
Black eyed peas?... GAAAAAAY!
Awesome passion and culture to the great game of Rugby Union. What a way to start a match!
the haka is kiwi culture... they've been doing since the first days.
well deal with it then, not everyone wants hear you winge about trivial matters.. turn the tv off or go make a cuppa when "our culture" is being preformed.
well not everybody is into to nz culture. We have to listen to the kiwi's sing there national anthem twice then watch the "haka". I think you get more than a fair hearing, I think if a team doesn't want to watch the dance they shouldn't have to live up to "your culture".
in nz culture the haka means "im laying this warrior challenge... do you accept" (warrior days)... the opposition can eye them up and accept
I don't know why the opposition team has to stand there and watch it. They should go and have a shot at goal or warm up or something and let the Kiwi's do there intimidatory pretend war dance on there own.
amazing stuff
I don't like how they did that, me.
I dont watch alot of rugby but goddamn the haka is the greatest thing to watch in sports!
