14. Big misunderstanding, I was actually saying the same thing as you. This was ALL of our childhoods and the actor could have been any kiwi kid. I was replying to a racist post by 'rationalperspective' and his post has now been removed for negativity. So you probably thought my comment was directed at the videomaker, which is wasnt . I just deleted mine as it doesnt make sense on its own. I wish I'd known his was deleted, never been called a racist in my life:(
15. I think he was making connections to the behavioural patterns of the boy as opposed to the actual lifestyle resemblance. To use a stereotype, most Maori boys tend to be overly cheeky, are quite self confident and speak with that typical Maori jarjon.

18. @geekylie Are you saying Kiwi culture and Maori culture are two different things? I'm Maori and consider myself Kiwi... I'm also Kiwi and consider myself Maori!! Try to look past semantics and stop trying to separate ALL Kiwis!!!! I view this clip as representative of KIWI CULTURE, and not exclusive to Maori so it would be totally cool if you could get past your racist views. If the kid was replaced by a non-Maori actor we may have ended up with the same awesome result, so get over yourself.
