2. FACT: One of 1080's breakdown products is highly toxic fluorocitrate. ref. S. Weaver. 1080 remains stable in distilled water and breaks down extremely slowly in low temperatures, ie. In NZ streams in winter, therefore undegraded 1080 can be washed downwards into ground water and water supplies putting humans at risk.
3. judgemental too eh, just because we don't agree with 1080 does not automatically make us a "hippy". The trouble with 1080 is there is alot of money to be made out of this and if New Zealand banned it, a lot of the so called rich would probably go bust overnight.
