@TheMorsey007: In that case mate you must have your head planted right between John Keys arse cheeks......
FACT: One of 1080's breakdown products is highly toxic fluorocitrate. ref. S. Weaver. 1080 remains stable in distilled water and breaks down extremely slowly in low temperatures, ie. In NZ streams in winter, therefore undegraded 1080 can be washed downwards into ground water and water supplies putting humans at risk.
judgemental too eh, just because we don't agree with 1080 does not automatically make us a "hippy". The trouble with 1080 is there is alot of money to be made out of this and if New Zealand banned it, a lot of the so called rich would probably go bust overnight. As for your laungage, you sound like some dirty fowl mouthed outback gutter tramp who is only out for himself.

1080 new zealand "Doc tagged 18 Kea in pre-operation. Ten Kea lived inside the 1080 block during the danger period. Six of these Kea died from poisoning. 60%. Out of seven Kea that moved in and out of the 1080 area, one more was poisoned.
West Coast DOC now plan to drop more 1080 over Kea populations to test what happens".
