99% of Americans don't even know we have a national team, Who Cares! I only point it out to moronic R fans who say AF doesn't have a WC. The IFAF isn't even in the US, it's in France. R teams have advertisements plastered all over their uniforms and fields, that's disgusting and disrespectful to the sport and the legacies of the teams.
And if you think R players wouldn't take more money if they could, you're dumber than you sound.
There's a reason R leagues pattern themselves after the NFL.
And Murricans need body armour to play hand egg.
stfu u prob play minecraft fag
hes obviously a troll
Wow this is really gay
Football > Rugby
As agreed by most people,NFL pays more because of the commercialization. And you have to understand that not all people are after money.Thats why you people even sacrifice the game by allowing ads to be broadcast while the game is played.Rugby on the other hand is much more less commercialized than AF,but still managed to get tons more viewers and not to mention that its divided into two codes, yet still much more famous.Tell me,how many people watched IFAF WC?Compare it to RWC.

NFL teams don't send scouts to rugby, R players contact NFL teams, such as with Hayden Smith, whom the Jets are looking at more for his Basketball skills, like most TE's. Lomu was the only one EVER, and he was merely offered a tryout with one team, I had more than that.
Btw, what an Idiot you are "wiki"? Several of the players on that list (Tasker, Ngata, Bradley), played AF first and played Far more AF than R growing up. Their hardly converts. You Half Witted Moron! Lol! Hahaha!!!
First: 80% of the R players who've switched, have been "Kickers"!
Second: you're wrong! A similar number has switched both ways.
Third: NFL salaries start at 300k a year. If R players were so capable, there would be alot more of them. only 1% of NFL players, played Rugby on any level, and all but 1 of them played both sports growing up. NFL players don't try to play Rugby. 95% of them don't even realize it's a different sport from Aussie rules.
Some NFL players have managed to play in top flight rugby but the amount is very little compared to the amounts of rugby players who have actually successfully convert to NFL throughout history.Check wiki on code convert. This shows how hard it is for NFL players to convert to rugby and how easy it is for rugby players to convert to NFL.It just shows a lot of NFL players are not good enough to play rugby.Thats why NFL teams send scouts to scout rugby players. They know that these players are good.
@Mexikansoda football originated from rugby so don't call it gay and its more manly of a game because they have no protection u can't pass and its more rough
Rugby is gay. American football kicks ass!
0:33 Your welcome!
You missed my points cause you're afraid to accept facts.Thats why you avoid from reading my comments.Coward.In Asia we call your type as typo warrior. You can type but without facts and only with silliness.kids these days.Just search AFL and RU .Both are much more fast than AF.Everyone can play a sport that allows its players to sit on the bench most of the time.pathetic.

Did you make a point? I must have missed that. Feel free to dispute anything I've said. Be specific, concise, and try to avoid your apparent tendancy toward silliness.
hahaha boy you're so funny.I keep on giving you facts but you keep on denying.how pathetic.you keep on asking me to learn more but you know that I'm speaking from the truth.ran out of ideas noob?you cant counter my point thats why you started to talk nonsense.typical AF fans.very low educated : ) please learn more about rugby.everyone knows that AF is nowhere on par with rugby.

I like League, but I much prefer Union. THERE ARE NOWHERE NEAR THE NUMBER OF HITS IN ANY RUGBY CODE, AS THERE ARE IN AMERICAN FOOTBALL, AT ANY LEVEL.
Sorry, but Rugby hits arent even half as hard as AF hits. The biggest R collisions rarely exceed 60 G's of force, and are generally around 10-15 G's.
Lower end AF hits are usually around 30-50 G's, while big hits are often 150-200 G's.
Collision is in AF's nature, game, practice, youth, hs, college, pro, backtard.
Wrong! in league you occasionally see hits with "one" player moving at top speed, but rarely do you see two, and they don't run very far.
I don't know what Bucs games your watching: watch?v=HHjR1AvyHuE
Like most R fans, you focus on tackles and what happens around the ball, AF happens all over the field, and only 10% of hits are tackles.
Every statement I make is in response to some dumb comment by a R fan. I've watched 20+ League matches, including State of Origin 2012 matches.
You are definitely talking up AF too much. I live in Florida, and regularly watch and attend Bucs games, and the hits aren't any different to League. Players running at full speed over 20m happens every couple of tackles in League. The plays are set up like that, so its difficult for them to not be. Defence is back 10m, and the runners with the ball will be 10m from the play the ball. I don't doubt you have seen lots of Union but from what you've said I question how much you have watched League
I watch League matches too, it's just not the same. Contact still only happens with the ball carrier, and rarely if ever do you see 2 players run at full speed for 15+ meters then collide head on, which happens quite often in AF. Even in League, there are more rules for contact than AF.
Gay
I played Rugby, and have to agree with you, but Rugby Union and Rugby League are different. The regulations you talk about are only in relation to Union. In Union, you must make an effort to have you arms around the player during a tackle, hence there aren't the "collisions" on AF. In league, you can lead with shoulders etc, so the collisions are virtually the same as AF. I never had the balls to play League... too many bad injuries.
oh my gosh, if you shove your head up your arse any more youll be bathing in your own stomach acid
i play rugby for my school tell you what its fucking rough 4th game of the season and a kid went to hospital with a concusion... fuck brutal aha
