I am fascinated by this language.
Well, the language, culture, religion and music of the Highlands all came from Ireland orginally....
I tried to teach my wee daughter, but she says she 'disna wanna speak Klingon'....
How to be Scottish:
1. Say "Och aye the noo" at every opportunity
2. Eat haggis
3. Believe in the Loch Ness Monster
4. Enjoy the noise of the bagpipes
5. Drink copious amounts of whiskey
6. Eat deep-fried Mars Bars
7. Blame everything on England
8. Enjoy dreek weather
9. Wear a tartan skirt 10. Throw tree trunks
The weather is entirely predictable, see my own channels forecast for Lochaber. On You-Tube @ WTF TV Weather
I understand most of what she says and I'm Irish! (sayin that I am used to the Donegal dialect)
Its so like the Donegal dialect here in Ireland!
What´s the point of a weather report in a place where weather is completely umpredectible? Hearing the beautiful voice and accent of this woman
Very like Irish.
Rain, rain, rain. easy enough to interpret
Well, I guess that, basically, she is saying "its gonna rain all around the country, as usual"
wow thanks again! :D it is 'szeretem a magyart', anyway you're great!
seretem magyar! I don't know if I spelled that right
Wow thanks! Ok google helped me understanding the first half :)
I think I have to learn this language, it has a chemistry :)
FYI Twatsicle I am from the US not Scotland though I do have Scot in my blood among 22 other nationalities as well dingle berry and I bet your one of them English Cunts whom is to pussy to do the fighting of your own and hide behind someones back like Edward did with the welsh and Irish, not saying all English are, just you pillock
Umm, where I am from it means one of two things, first it can mean coming to a complete stop and two it could me pulling out all the stops which means giving a lot of good stuff for the money

Sorry to disappoint but I am not Scottish. You seem to have a bit of hate for them though..you should get some help for that. Bye.
Ara maise sílim go bfhuil siad iontach gar dá chéile. Tá an Gaidhlig seo thar a bheith cosúil le cainúint Acla ar iarthar chósta Maigh Eo sílim fhéin. Cé go bfhuil téarmaí áirithe á úsáid acu i chiall éagsúl, cur i gcás 'cuideacht' le haghaidh 'freisin'. Cuideacht anseo, ciallaíonn sé sin comhluadar. Ah, I think they're very similar, sounds like achill Irish in mayo I think. Although they use certain words like 'cuideacht' differently, I can make sense of it. It's like spanish is to italian.
Is it so similar to Irish? I didn't believe they are still mutually intelligible.
Wow what a beautiful language. I hope many people speak it, and it won't disappear, as a lot of other langauges do.
Don't understand a single word though xD
