5. I went there 3 times. I had a russian girlfriend that lived there. Its a nice country but now is in economic recession. Beautiful places to see, beautiful women too.
6. From the pictures I've seen, Latvia is beautiful. I'd love to go there someday. I wonder how much air fare is from the US to Latvijas.

17. it sucks. There is nothing to see here and nothing to do. You can have by far better impressions in betetr cities (Bigger, older and more cultural). Alas, if you want to experience the atmosphere or nature, jsut go over Urals in Russia. That's it. :( sad but true.

20. When I see the pictures of the lakes, the land and the wilderness, I am reminded of Canada's beauty because I am Canadian. But in my experience I have not heard any beauty that equals Latvian folk music. There is no equal.
