I always thought it strange that France were more interested in the Silencers when I was young, till I got older and realised the French people have better taste.

The Silencers are the best band I've seen live, one of those bands better live than recorded. For any edinburgers, what was that club called where the Silencers played live a few times, Busters?

I've got 12(proper) guitars mate.The Silencers were never about cranked up Marshall's.James's sound was far too heavy for that song/the silencers in general.Now piss off ya tit!

I was there too, up in the balcony. Access all areas. I remember the support band as well. A young outfit from Calderbank called The Daizies. The Town Hall rocked that night.
The last time I saw wee Jimmy, I near ran him over in Coatbridge.

Yeah great band...I saw them supporting Simple Minds in 1989 in Paris,Leeds and Cardiff they were great.a really under-rated band.....got all their albums.3rd best Scottish band ever after Simple Minds and Big Country Id have to say........where`s Jimmy`s hair gone ??
