u nor very smart girl but cute
And how exactly are drive-thru ATMs a part of our culture?? It IS lazy.
you dont get that you're fat
If they make the food prices higher ... than less people will go out to eat. It's expensive enough to eat out these days, the food prices are too high as it is . Tips are optional, people can choose to pay more by tipping or they can choose not to. If you make people pay more for food in replacement of tipping... then they no longer have the option of whether they want to pay more and the establishment will lose money because too many people will decide to not eat out .
Well, thanks for the advice. I'm thinking I'll just overtip everyone to avoid offending people... I'm not there for that long, anyway :)
I don't frequent, lol. And like you said, that's exactly why I don't tip, people who need tip really are just vulgar animals (with all that spitting).
I laughed so hard when she mentioned Mexican jokes. I don't know why.
You're an ignorant, stupid American child (at least I HOPE you're a child) who is making your whole stupid country look bad.
Yeah, that's because America is a shit country. Don't even have enough money to pay your waiters, haha.
I grew up in the US but was raised by a Polynesian so I called 'flip-flops' 'thongs' right up until thongs/g-strings became a thing.
you know, i never really understood that whole "hating American tourists for not understanding our culture" phenomenon that a lot of countries have... but i think i get it. I mean, this person was really annoying, and how they didn't understand basic tipping, and insulting our culture (Drive thru ATM...lazy...really?) I get frustrated.
American here. Boot? I don't get it. The Australians are hilariously ridiculous.
Capsicums....we in NZ call them that too...Thongs NO we call them Jandels lol but yea as for the drinking and singing its a must!!!well not a must but cant imagine not singing atleast one song whilst drinking. Chur nice vid btw Heaps cool ;)
ok we dont use boot we do say trunk we dont sing about drinking beer tats kinda wat old pirates do n theyr all dead, thongs go up ur butt crack not down ur foot crack theyr called filp flops, heaps is a term for a lot witch was used n the 1970s n u look too young to be saykng it tippng u only give them about one dollar anyway well i do but yea next time not being rude get a book of american slang words so u dont look again not being rude .....Stupid
I wonder how many times your food's been sneezed or spit into at restaurants you frequent
The tipping thing is a nice way of giving the minimum wages people to earn extra. it is also to tell them that you had a nice time and they had good service and you were satisfied
Tipping is respectableable because some waiters have an incredibly low salary and it would just be meen to not tip them but why do they get mad you ask? they make no fucking money
Tipping, people who work as waiters/pizza delivery guys are paid on a Tip-credit system, meaning they are "expected" to make a certain amount of money from working as a waiter from tips and i think tip credit is about $3 to $5.12, depending on the state. Meaning that you are expected to make $3-$5.13 of your minimum wage ($7.15) so your employer will only pay you $5-$2.12 you for every hour. Most waiter around the country only make $2.12 an hour and are expected to make the rest trough tips.
ok Babe#1 n 2#. 1#, we love our booze and we need to be able to buy it anywhere. buisnesses and government obliges. 2# buisness are cheap as shit(you love this word), so they pay waiters less than minimum wages. sometimes a lot less than minimum. so these people rely on tips to survive. 10% is just average for so so service. but 15-20% is better for good service. no tip means u are a cheap bastard who deserves bad service next time you dine in.
If these reasons are the only ones she could come up with for "things Americans/ she didn't get" I think we are a lot alike.
FYI, Alcohol is regulated state by state. I grew up in the state of Pennsylvania, and their alcohol (all of it) was regulated much like your "bottle shops." Now that I live in Virginia, their regulations are a bit more relaxed on "soft" booze (beer and wine,) but "hard" liquor is only for sale in state run stores, (though, if I tried hard enough I could probably find someone who owned a still...) Oh, and I don't know who your friends were, but who doesn't know drinking songs? Crikey!
The root cause of all your misunderstandings was your location, you should have experienced some southern hospitality. The Mexican joke was spot on funny. Now, next time you make a video, paint your nails!
It's not that we don't get it/you don't get it. Our culture is different from yours.
