7. While Once Were Warriors is a brilliant film, theres absolutely nothing great or cool about Temuera Morrison's character 'Jake the Muss'. There's nothing cool, funny or awesome about beating your wife to a pulp, abusing your kids, drinking 24/7 and generally being a nasty, violent bully. But kudos to the actors, I first saw Once Were Warrirors in 99 when I was 15 in UK, and it blew me away. Still does. One of the best, if not the best drama films I've ever seen.
