1. This is crazy but I am from Utah, USA and you say the words exaclty like I do (except pecan and caramel, but some people here say them like you). In fact, your pronunciation is closer to a Western US accent than some other parts of America, like the South! Craziness.

4. I went to Scotland last year. It was freezing and rained non-stop. The only food was haggis, deep fried Mars Bars and shortbread & everyone is fat. All the men are transvestites & the women look like men. I couldn't understand a word anyone said & everyone had false teeth. Most of Scotland is sparsely habited due to the midge plague. Most children have MS due to the appalling weather & the oldest person is 50-years-old. I couldn't sleep due to the 24-hour-a-day bagpipe playing. Avoid.
5. Funny. Then again it's different then what I'm used too. My Scot grandmother sounded different, but maybe it's just an age thing.

7. At the top I was thinking ye sounded Scots w/ just a wee Aussie or Kiwi :-) The South African is subtle but present in your inflection- quite a unique and wonderful accent indeed.
8. The ant was actually spelled "aunt" as in your mom or dad's sister. Some people pronounce it ant like the insect and others say it more ahnt to rhyme with want.

23. This one time I went to Scotland. It rained non-stop and was freezing cold. Everyone is overweight and has false teeth. All the men are transvestites and the women look like men. I was attacked by a swarm of midges and thrown out of a pub for saying that the Loch Ness monster didn't exist. Everyone is constantly drunk and there is a very high level of MS due to the horrible weather. I couldn't sleep at night due to the constant bagpipe noise. I am never going back.
