Every time i see this makes me cry for alot of reasons, my grandmother use to sing this and of cos alot of our old tv news announcers and all those whom passed on RIP to u and Billy T u will always be in our hearts and always be chearished
Wow, so good to see many of the old celebrities in their prime and in one space. Reminds us that we are altogether on this great waka called New Zealand. Just hoping some one will come soon and direct this waka to better places in lieu of people jumping off and onto the Aussie boat. C'mon Kiwi c'mon is another chant from the days to get us fired up. I wonder what became of Precious 'bend your knees' McKenzie? R.I.P Billy T James, Barry Crump, and Beaver
I had this on repeat in the VCR when I was a kid - loved this song and We Are The World
'I remember the words " ... on the waters of New Zealand ... " I searched long and hard for the longer version but have never been able to find it. The imagery/sentiments are just lovely.
An Aussie looking at this, makes me wish so much you won it. What beautiful sentiments.! Beneath the mutual satire - kissin' cousins!
Always loved this, makes me go all gooey inside!!!!!
one people one land i wish
we done so well against the "big boys" and f@#K dennis connor lol
anyone know what the version is with Pokarekare Ana at the start and end of the song? in the female voice? please....
Bet half these celebs were under the influence!
just beautiful to see these young celebs from back in the days. good memories
Dave, Billy & Tim....ul never see this anywhere else
- it seemed a good idea at the time. But yes, it is now something to look back on in shame...
