5. in this case washers and dryers, refrigerators, and HDTV's. Leaving the real exercises in "time capsule" creation to the more traditional bunch of elementary school children w/ hopefully more differing views of the collection of items to be included in a "snapshot of the day" and interpreted many years, decades, or even centuries later by a wider, more culturally and politically diverse group than the
6. left-wing Hollywood film cabal, makes a much better and easily defensible framing for discussions of concerns of the day. Then you find out that you have to please everybody else in order to make your vision come true. Thus is life- it's how people get anything done. It's a fact of life, human nature.
