1. The dogs are doing what they were bred to do. They're happy and fulfilled. Love the background tune. Fits the video perfectly. What a life you have. Wonderfully done video. Are Huntaways showing-up on large US sheep ranches? They seem ideal for rough terrain and huge bands.

3. my huntaway has no training at hearding and everytime he gets excited he starts running around us in a big circle, then comes his very loud bark and as soon as he gets to chase his red nose pitty friend he acts like shes a sheep!!. It must be in the blood haha, awesome dogs!

11. AMAZING!! how long did it take you to train one of these dogs? I have some sheep on my farm and I'm planning to buy a Collie to keep them under control.

14. It is amazing!! I go to New Zeland this year for 1 year and I hope that I will meet some of this farm!! I have also border collie and she would be in paradise if she lived in this farm!

24. There's a mix of dogs there, heading and huntaway. The heading dogs are likely to be border-collie cross, the huntaway is a non-specific mixed breed dating back more than 100 years. Heading dogs are often trained not to bark, but to turn and round up the sheep/cattle from in front; the huntaway is a general purpose dog, used for heading sometimes (the 'handy' dog), but more often to move farm stock from behind with plenty of noise and vigorous movement.
