22. Well, if the woman who put your card on the counter was Japanese, I may have an explanation for her actions... In Japan, it is (for some strange reason) considered rude to directly hand change back and forth between the cashier and the customer. The customer will set the money down on the counter, and the cashier will accept it, make the change, and set it down on the counter for the customer to take themselves. Or it could just be some weird-ass thing she did...
