Yeah. Im from bc and i could tell you have a bit heavier accent than the western side i think. You pronounce your vowels more strong than us. Eh??
You have a strong Canadian accent like I have a strong British accent
I'm from British Colombia eh, I only notice accents from the far east of Canada
Neww that's what I'm talking a-boot.
Yep from Colorado here, you definitely have the Canadian accent. As others mentioned, it's the long o's. However, you don't have the typical accent where they raise the end of any statement like it was a question...
i knew cause of your "o" its more dramatic then ours
Darn swype phone..lol sry about typos..i meant I can tell by the way you say words with the letter "o" I think when I listen to the way you say words with the letter o an when I say them I sound like I say it with an a..gat,camment,taday etc..lol god I'm trying to say
today with a"o" an it just sound like tootie.lol
You sound canadian I'm american an you I can tell from the moment you say anything with an "o" I'm it you kinda exaggerate it alot more then americans....
i live in Ottowa and you say your o's different
im originally from toronto and currently live in california...your accent is mostly what i'm used to except for the o's which sound more scottish or irish...its interesting because i've never been outside of ontario and vancouver in canada and both have pretty neutral accents (as does the part of california i'm from) so cool!
I am originally from Italy but have lived in England (London area) for nearly 28 years... to me, you sound American (US) with a bit of Irish thrown in (esp. aboot). (N.B. I did have an Irish boyf once...)!
i think its mainly the o sound im from california an you say abouut with a longer o sound and we say abawt with less of an o sound and more a ww
you sound good to me <----- canadian (ontario)
I'm from Toronto, and you definitely pronounce "o" differently. For example, you pronounce "so" as "sew." Are you parents Irish?
Pretty much about i am (Ontarian) I guess if you were siting with an American he would be bound to say Californian .I am from Vancouver and stays with my Uncle and i've been never heard Vancouver says eh but in a certain place like The Downtown they may have to.
People from Michigan, specifically the Upper Peninsula, use the word huh in place of our "eh". I know that we don't mean to say it, it's just a figure of speech. We can't help it. If you're Canadian, you are basically, going to say, "eh".
from ohio. you dont speak that much different than me really. but you do kinda sound like you might be from minnisota i think its the way you say sooo. there are just a few things you say like about. other than that not much different\
I'm Canadian but I don't see canadians having an accent I've been told before by Americans or a French guy how they just love my accent this is me " ahahahaha what accent?" I also understand how i would think I don't have because I'm surrounded by canadian accents
canada
also from canada, british columbia though. you definitely sound eastern. how you say show and so, your "o" sound is what gives it away. and how your t's are said. british columbians pronounce the t a little harder.
you sound like an Pei Islander to me to well exept Tignish: P BUT you also dont sound like an acadien islander from Wellington. You could fit in in Summerside, or Charlotown.
i think you sound like everyone in toronto (where i'm from) except for the say you pronounce your "o" sounds ... when you say so it sounds like "s-ohh" which might be more of a northern canada or small town accent? not sure ... but here in toronto we pronounce so as "sew" ... less oh-y ... more ew-y. make sense? anyways, great vid overall :)
You pronounce "about" like "aboat" in my opinion. I'm from British Columbia :)
I'm from southwestern ontario and you pretty much talk the same way I do - it's kind of nice to hear Canadians talk. The American accent is everywhere it's refreshing to hear people who speak the same way. I noticed that when I talk, in terms of the A-boot thing, it's more like a-boat. It's more rounded. Anyway, cool video it's an interesting topic!
You sound like American's do the only difference is how you pronounce your "O" its like "S-ohhh" if that makes sense...
