9. I'd say that airport should be put on the fast track to get a crosswind runway! If strong crosswinds like that happen often enough, then that's a big safety and operational hazard.

11. That wasn't an amazing pilot. That was a jerk who didn't know how to kick out a rudder in the flare.

I just read up on this, that it was perfectly safe to land as the pilot had enough control in the rudder upon landing, but an unexpected gust of wind (forgot the terminology, but it's rare and more of a nuisance than dangerous) came under the wing causing it to tilt and scrape the runway, but kudos to the pilot for quick thinking!

17. Coming into land, I thought speed is heavily decreased with those flaps on the wings - would it have had enough groundspeed to re-take off. Why or why did I view this when I am flying tonight on a 9 hour flight. Absolute bravery there from the pilot - well done!
