2. Ok, just to clear it up. People in Toronto, and other large cities have roughly the same accent as new york and minnesota. Northern Ontario, and the rest of canada have VERY different accents

12. When I went to Canada I had to try really hard to keep from laughing at the accent, but after being there for a while I couldn't hear it anymore and the way people talked just sounded normal. Well, except for a few words, like drama. The first a in drama is like the "a" in draw, dagnabit, not the "a" like in apple! Argh!

21. "bag" gets said differently in different parts of the US. In many places they say it like she does: "ba:ig" but in Chicago they say "ba:g"

I had an amusing request from two Australians asking me to say "bag" and "goose" just to hear the Canadian accent when those two words are said. Personally, I don't think I have much of an accent, but I could be wrong.
