1. I've never been to Australia and I'm completely clueless on Australian culture outside of Rugby and Crocodile Dundee and this movie translated just fine to me!!! Hilarious and I was laughing at "Tell 'im he's dreamin'". Funny is funny. Some people just lack a sense of humor.

I've not seen the movie, but it still looks well worthwhile; I'm a yankistani, but it seems like Aussie comedies (for the most part) have a little 'twist' or a bit extra, maybe something to think about, beyond the typical superficial American comedies. Of course there're always exceptions, but by and large, I'd say that the movies from danunda are proportionally of a higher quality.
