There needs to be a 1 hour version of this song.
1:10 your welcome
yessir.
Ok,I def like new/different therioes and all,'specially BSG...hope ya don't mind me 'jumping in'. The only prob I have with your theroy(and also where it may need some work)...can you explain the Viper, please??? There were NO signs of life(on 13th earth)...bio or otherwise...so,Kara constructs her own??With WHAT??? On this aspect.I'll actually concede her being able to(per hotwiring a raider,S1...) BUT...it was a PERFECT copy...I'll stick to my theroy of her being the Angel of Death...
yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you buy the soundtrack on Itunes or Amazon?
I actually like this idea (it did sound like at least 1 Daniel that was grown before they were corrupted), but it did seem pretty obvious that Starbuck was an angel of some sort, as was said by multiple characters and with the... whatnot. There's definitely supernatural forces involved in BSG, no doubt about that, though this seemed a bit unusually blatant.
Utterly speechless=me right now. I just got some serious chills listening to this.
I like your thinking...
Though let's not forget what Leoben said. "When I look upon you, I don't see Kara Thrace. I see an Angel, burning with the light of God." or something like that (P.S. that got me SERIOUS chills). I'm still betting she's an Angel, and her dad might have just been screwed up, while her mother only had a "feeling" Kara was something more.
There is no proof of Starbuck being the first hybrid but there are some interesting coincidences that would lead to speculation. Her knowing the song and it being taught to her by her father etc. When I watched the episode where Anders get the surgery and he talked about Daniel the missing cylon along with Kara playing the cylon song on the piano, a friend and I that were watching at the time thought Kara was the daughter of Daniel and therefore a half cylon.
wasnt that the purpose of hera? first human cylon hybrid? you are making shit up as you go, noone in the whole serier ever said that starbuck was a hybrid, the creators themselves said they have no fucking idea bout starbuck aka "shes whatever you want her to be. I love when writers say.. yea well... i dont know you figure this out. fuck that. worst ending ever
Not done by magic. During a recent revisit to the series, my friend and I are thoroughly convinced that Starbuck is in fact the first human/cylon hybrid, and her return was simply post-resurrection (though not from a ship, from the 13th tribes Earth). I posit that she is the daughter of the 7th model Daniel, who was boxed. Thus why her mother was so hateful towards him and why Kara herself was "special". No magic. Just subtlety that requires close attention.
its like the best show in the galaxy, but i was so dissapointed by the finale episode. finales are to wrap things up explain the unexplained and leave us in awe of the plot complexity. meanwhile finale of bgs was like a unimaginative slideshow. its like they have ran out of ideas of how to explain things rationaly after kara jumps the ship so they made it like "hey! magicman done it by magic!" ...so disapointing.
.....5...4...3...2.....like lets go
BOB DYLAN....YOU CYLON!!
Well, it's the chords from Bear's arangement of AATW. Also, keep in mind that I wrote that comment six months ago please.
Actually, while Dylan wrote AATW, this arrangement has nothing at all to do with the original. I mean, yes, you could argue that they're the same chord progression, but unless I'm mistaken, even that isn't exactly the same. This is a Bear McCreary piece that is VERY loosely based on a Dylan piece.
Nice. Just flaunt that signed copy of the Season 4 OST, man. Great. Now I really hate you. Just kidding, of course :P. Thanks for the upload, and making some of us green with envy! XD
So say we all!
what the frak is that noise? lol you gotta love tye
Bob Dylan wrote All Along the Watchtower, which Bear McCreary made his own arrangement of, and it became the final five's theme song they hear all the time. From that, he just took out the lyrics and made it piano for Kara Remembers.
Realy... I didn´t know that. Than who wrote it?
No it's not. He didn't even write it originally.
greatest series, but it had to end*
it was one of the greatest series to end, but it wouldve gotten stale, better the series go out on its own terms than get canceled
