10. The majority often see me as full White. I was raised traditionally White - as in little to no knowledge of my Thai roots. All the stereotyping comes later among people who know me. Thanks for watching.

12. My mom was the same way. She tried to fix me and my brother up with Asian girls. We totally dissed them because they were traditional Asian girls - very family oriented, shy, intelligent and VERY well-mannered. They have strong ties to the Asian community. My mom's idea was that she didnt want the Thai culture to die out if I had white kids.
13. You look a little more white than asian. I'm like you, my mom is from S.Korea and my dad is from Tennessee, he has mostly Scotch-Irish heritage. I look a little more white than asian, but still I dealt with racism and stereotype. It's funny that most Asian females who marry to a white guys, want their son marry to an Asian female, but if they date or marry to a white female, they think it's wrong. But hey why did they married white guy at the first place. :D
