Cadbury Creme Egg ad from New Zealand, as shown in 1992. This was towards the end of life for this ad, in later years it was replaced by new advertising. The NZ Film Archives list the ad as being from 1985. The advertising agency was Colenso. I don't know one person who preferred any of the subsequent ads over this one. We live in hope that Cadbury will realise the error of their ways, and bring this ad back. This ad, or more specifically the girl in the ad, was the subject of one of those "What are they doing now" shows a few years ago. See, people do remember this one! The boy in the glasses is apparently Alexis Banas, and he attended Hataitai Primary School in Wellington (YouTube comments). mrshomer1 "... was in this commercial as an extra - we got paid $80 for the day. It was filmed at St Patricks College, Silverstream. All I remeber was that we had to write in some old school books, and they used ********* of dry ice!" Unfortunately the last scene, where the school teacher is seen eating a Creme Egg is replaced by the Double Chocolate promotion. One of my favourite ads, used to look for this each year as it meant Creme Eggs were forthcoming. A box of 50 didn't last long in our house (product no longer manufactured in New Zealand, UK version apparently tastes different).
