To me (an american) the accents sound like this:
1st guy: enehhhhjnehhoiuhhh uuuuhh ohhh cunuhhzeeoomo wazeeemawmbo
2nd guy: se nejzej ehhoioichopedung cozeeconsehoomo wateemumbo
3rd guy: ee said an adz an adz eeonleechopidown cozikspokisvyou wasspreepermowinbout
I think the third guy is easiest to understand.
Yes, though minus Mrs. Norris lmao
"That's right. Deactivated!" Love that part.
IS THAT FILCH?!?!?
The farmer said "A hedge is a hedge I only chopped it down because i couldn't have a view anymore what is he moaning about?''
Not that difficult to understand the farmer, mind you I do come from the forest in Gloucestershire in the west country and there are some people who talk like that.
what the DEUCE I got none of those Queen's English!
What did they say :(
lmaooo
Hahaha quality stuff! Love this film.
THANK YOU for saying English instead of British!
Lovin it
Yep, I'd say so. Hot Fuzz is my favourite film by a very long way. Everything down to the way it is directed is pure genius. It is one of those films where the more times you watch it, the more subtle jokes you pick up. It gets funnier every time you see it.
Well that's crazy!
As an American, I still thought this movie was plenty funny - and if I'm only getting less than half of what is really funny in this film - this must have been the funniest film EVER. o,o
Calm down dear. If you are an American, as it seems you are from your comment, then I can guarantee that you do not understand well over half of what is funny in this film. It is simply a fact and I'd say the same to somebody from Scotland or elsewhere in England. I am not attacking Americans, I'm simply stating that one would not fully pick up on all the jokes if one lived outside of this region of England. You won't know it but you will be missing certain things.
This movie is hilarious - the next scene where they discover that the farmer has a hoard of weapons, including a sea-mine, is awesome.
Really. You think Americans don't ever make fun of difficult to understand rural accents here? The title was tongue-in-cheek you insufferable bore. Put away your arrogant anti-Americanism and get a life, you twit.
I think the title of the video itself is a joke.
I'm guessing this was uploaded by an American. Firstly, that is not Queen's English, it is a satirical mocking of the colloquial West English (Gloucestershire) accent. Secondly, this film is far less funny if you didn't know the first point. An american watching this is like me watching a French film mocking the accent in southern france. It isn't anywhere near as funny if you haven't experienced it. The film is a caricature of English village life, you need to have been in one to understand it.
Mr. Filch fell hard.....
The second time I watched this I understood the farmer :)
