19. Unofficially, out of town and especially abroad salford is considered as a part of "Manchester". The city of london is only a few square miles however most of the boroughs of greater london is considered "london". This is because central london just like manchester city centre are the powerhouses of their metropolitan areas.

Okay, so I thought I was pretty good at these various English accents, until I got the mic in my hand! lol Hopefully they're not all too shocking... Additionally, no offence meant to anybody, so if you don't like my interpretation of your accent, I'm so sorry! The accents you will hear are from: Liverpool Yorkshire Bristol 'Posh' London/Essex Somerset/Cornwall Norfolk Birmingham Liverpool (again) The poem at the end is George McGee by Craig Charles from his book No Other Blue. Would love opinions, especially from native speakers from these towns & counties, but please go easy on me, I don't claim to be an expert! :-)
