1. regardless of whether it is pronunciation or spelling, it all adds up to form a language. there is a proverbial smoking wound in his foot, as i am sure i am not the only person who has noticed or is angered by this. and i know you don't pronounce the u's in those particular examples but americans are known for neutralising their vowels which makes words hard to distinguish from one another e.g. mary and merry.

13. In my opinion when normal British people talk (excluding chavs and the bums in society) they talk properly (hence we sound more intelligent), when Americans talk they seem to put less effort into prounounciation.
14. It's funny how most Americans assume that people from Britain have posh accents, when really not many of us do. Maybe I'm just being bias, but in my opinion Britain has great comedy, brilliant tv, and have given our fair share of fantastic music.
