@supergirl5121 Lol was a dick that guy was! Anyway, az or as, is just another term we use to emphasise our point. Instead of saying 'that movie was so cool', in NZ we could also say 'that movie was cool as!' Hope this helped!
@supergirl5121 Whatever the heck that is? Wow its only the other official language of NZ. The words that you were trying to pronounce were Maori words so yeah actually you were trying to pronounce Te Reo Maori.
@TheNzpaintball haha im the boy in the vid like five years later. thanks for the props bro
@supergirl5121 Te Reo Maori translates to the Maori Language. The being pretty much the focus of the last half of the video. Pahutakawa etc.
@supergirl5121 Te Reo Maori is the language you were trying to pronounce! Pohutukawa and whatever else you said?
@0XXSTR0XX1 ha, okay cool... i'm a 16 year old who weighs 110 pounds, but sure, i'm a fat vag? yeah... right.
@TheNzpaintball Umm, we weren't even trying to pronounce whatever the heck that is... :/ Sorry to ruin your funn..
@supergirl5121 its just a video on youtube about a whale thats stuck on a beach

@KiwiGirl246 that is completely true
@supergirl5121 I don't even know what that means myself and Im from New Zealand!?!?lol
There is no 'normal' way of speaking. 'Normal' is different in every country and is dependent on where you're from.
Dont feed the seagulls!!..it's the same rule as , dont eat yellow snow!!...lol
@supergirl5121 Searched "Beached az" in youtube. There's 2 seasons of it
@KiwiGirl246 yeah.. we learned.
@foch0 ... what does beached az mean? sorry.. haha! i'm just curious :P
@stadus1 haha! thank you(:
lol kool vid
@TheUnknownGenius agreed!! i just moved to the usa and EVERYONE says i have an accent and they dont!
@hornetchik05 I didn't say that was the accent. I meant, I love the way that it's said.
@kaybabe254 Yes but when you say the word 'pen' and the word 'pan', do they come out sounding the same or similar?
In NZ, they are said quite differently.
@TheUnknownGenius Everyone has an accent, the way we talk is our accent. There is no 'normal' accent or anything.
And in Southland, we would say Amber, not Amba.
@JemixShanie Us saying Aluminium isn't our accent, its a different spelling of the word we use over here, and also in England. Americans say it different to us because of spelling, not the accent.
