@CODnoobandnailer So first some little kid types a comment that makes no sense, and now he has some older kid typing comments for him? Hah, this just gets better and better.
@prestb Stalkin me bro? u look mad. u on ur period? want me 2 send u a tampon?
"That 60 million dollars is coming out of your paycheck!!"
@XBLChubbySkunk Conventional helos have had higher fatalities per flight than the V-22.
That was the result of one numbnuts technician not connecting the fly-by-wire data wires correctly. So it was literally like commanding pitch was instead commanding roll, and vice versa. Now they're like color coded, or something, so they don't screw it up. The biggest problem, having talked to some of the people working on them, is the private contractors and a culture of profit-maximizing and corner-cutting. It has nothing to do with the V-22 design being flawed.
@Pengythetux222: Osprey is LESS heavily armed than helicopters.
@TarlanT: Marine Corps fudged the data to make V-22 appear safer.
Read any of the V-22 articles in Wired magazine to find out more.
The drunk pilot....
@Pengythetux222
Oh and don't forget, it's gotten more Marines killed :)
@XBLChubbySkunk Your joking right? The osprey was a massive success! It can do alot more then a Chinook can and is much more particle. It has more guns, can go faster, can carry more.
@XBLChubbySkunk
right, this is shit and its completely useless
What a fucking idiot.
the Osprey is the biggest waste of money and was fucking stupid.
Wow! The V-22 soundtrack sounds just like that Hughes 300 mishap! Reciprocating engine sound vs jet multi-engine sound.....
@JISINSANE3 The KA-22 isn't a tilt rotor aircraft. It's basically just a helicopter with wings.
modern warfare 3 :D
psshhhh, I could do that...
tax money well spent
im selecting juggernaut next time
halo noobs
They actually stole this plan from the russians. Russia had the kamov ka-22 way back in 1959!
oh shit!
That shit don't get it,all of this high tech,supposedly innovative thinking. Well,I don't have a damn PHD in aerodynamics and engineering,but who ever does have one and was responsible for designing the Osprey should have just as well got his degree from the back of a cereal box than waste his time going to M.I.T. or where ever he got it.
@xam107
What's funny is the ARMY doesn't even have the 22, Only the USAF,USMC,USN have it.. BUT, you were right on it being one of first tests flights. it's actually got the fewest crash ratings out of all the aircraft used today.
