I never saw that documentary, but I'm pretty sure I heard Hoffman say that Fugazi were his heroes.

i mean its just a four chord proggresion. Its not completely out of this world that they came up with the same chord progression. idk i never heard the song your talking about, but like this other guy said i just assume they dont listen to good music
I remember watching these guys in NOLA, during the 90's. WOW....the passion and energy they convey through their music is almost unparalleled by other bands.
